Founding Pilot Guide

Last updated: July 13, 2026

ProPour is a Michai Media product built to help hospitality professionals establish portable trust, find and complete shifts, secure payment, and build a career record. The founding pilot is intentionally limited to approved participants in St. Louis and Chicago.

The complete shift loop

  1. Create a bartender or venue account and request a place in the correct city cohort.
  2. Complete readiness review. Bartenders submit credential proof; venues attest to the operating, safety, insurance, and classification checklist.
  3. Approved venues post local shifts. Only eligible pilot bartenders can apply.
  4. The venue accepts an applicant and secures the displayed labor amount and service fee through Stripe.
  5. The bartender checks in, uses Shift Mode, checks out, and records earnings.
  6. The venue releases payout after completed work. Both participants may leave booking-verified reviews.

Cancellations, no-shows, and disputes

Cancel a confirmed booking in the app before its scheduled start and provide a reason. Secured funds are marked for refund when payout has not begun. Venues can report a no-show 30 minutes after the scheduled start if no check-in exists. Either participant can open a documented dispute; payout pauses while ProPour operations reviews it.

City readiness

St. Louis

ProPour requires Missouri SMART proof as a pilot standard. Missouri's official SMART training is available from the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

Chicago

Chicago pilot bartenders must provide a current Illinois BASSET card. See the Illinois Liquor Control Commission BASSET program.

Where to get help

Open a tracked request inside the app or visit ProPour Support. For immediate danger call 911 first, then use the in-app incident report and the Safety Center.
